Could you please remove the rent guy(or just create a mode in which there's none of him)? I just really like to farm money and feel progress by an increasing amount of complexity: water this, plant that, buy this, lose that. At least you could make all the interactions cost money and be optional, instead of them being random and punishing the player for something they couldn't have foreseen.
Reoin+Bottaries ftw. Limited space is interesting, but I feel like it really punishes longer-growing plants pretty harshly in the late game. Rain is the best water card by a long shot, obviously. I can't imagine any build for this game that doesn't start off with Sproccoli and then pivot away from it once per-turn energy is 'enough', nor one that doesn't have at least a third its cards be Reoin. That would probably be a bad sign for strategic depth, but this game was made in three days so honestly it's impressive it's as complete and strategically interesting as it is.
Thanks. I'm currently making another game that is continuation of this. You can check out free playable beta in my profile if you want, or follow me for updates.
Rain is pretty broken yeah, easily averages more than 18 water for one card. It's fun to use though, and one of the few reasons to think about plant placement seriously. Very nice design, love the game overall. Other uses for money could be a nice improvement? :)

Nice game. This reminds me of a lot of other games though I can't to seem to remember which ones.
That's a pretty nice, game, I'm pretty sure with a little more polish this is marketable. I can see myself buying it

Seems like a Saffruma + Tomelone build can get you quite far, not sure what day this is but it took more than an hour to get here:
Reoin and the one that gets stronger the more of itself there is are a broken combo
Managed to get 219. very simple strategy, but it worked! very fun little game here, creative idea for a card game and the endless nature really helps.
My combo was rain, the draw one, and the when watered gain money plant.
damn, that's quite impressive
